SPATIAL SCIENCES INSTITUTE: POWER OF PLACE + SPACE

We see the world differently: we view it through a spatial lens and use “where” to help address global challenges. As the hub of spatial thinking and analysis at USC, we partner with researchers, businesses, non-profits, NGOs, and other entities to analyze, model, and visualize location-based data. blankOur internationally-recognized faculty contribute to the rapidly-evolving body of geospatial knowledge. Through our innovative General Education courses, minors in Spatial Studies and Human Security and Geospatial Intelligence, B.S. in GeoDesign, Geographic Information Science and Technology Graduate Programs, M.S. in Spatial Informatics, and Ph.D. in Population, Health and Place, we develop the next generation of spatial thinkers, empowering them with capabilities to solve real-world issues.
